Collect Vigil of Pentecost

God did not spin the wheel and see what day Pentecost would land on! It was a part of his plan all along, and when I learned about Pentecost, how it was first mentioned in the Old Testament, just maybe the Disciples had a clue.

The original Jewish Holy Day of Pentecost also celebrated the day that God gave Moses the Torah on Mt. Sinai. Notice how God’s glory appeared to both Moses and the Disciples - in fire.
